SUMMARY
Life Corporation Co., Ltd. operates over 290 supermarkets in the Western Japan and Tokyo metropolitan areas. At the Life Kurihashi Process Center, one of the PC bases in the Tokyo metropolitan area, 18 Nippon Career slicers and 4 mincing lines were introduced to improve productivity.
1）Issues before using our products
- In the meat slicing process, a round-blade slicer was used for production, which caused variations in productivity and commercialization due to differences in the experience and proficiency of employees.
2）Benefits after use our products
- By introducing Nippon slicer, we were able to concentrate on the serving work after feeding the meat into the machine, and there was no variation in commercialization.
- With the mechanization of the slicing process, there was no variation in productivity due to differences in experience and proficiency.
3）Focuses considered making use decisions
- In order to achieve our goal of commercialization, we repeatedly and carefully examined yield and production speed measurements.
- Careful consideration was given to the installation location of the equipment and the linkage with peripheral equipment such as conveyors, and the difference in productivity in the total time from shipping raw materials to product storage was clarified.
